Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistent. Reliable. Accurate. In fact the most accurate .22 lr ammunition I have found in the last five years. Not even close to the advertised velocity as chronographed in three different rifles. 1135f/s average real world velocity. It is enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it.. I bought these for the first time about 15 years ago. Since then I have bought them whenever I could. Every rifle I have put them through has given me great accuracy. Used a Savage mk 2, a Marlin 75, glenfield (Marlin made) 25, & Marlin 60. I have used all of them to hunt squirrel with this load and when I did my job right, I always came home with my limit. Almost never had any issues in the semi-autos, as long as they are clean and lubed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hopeless in autos. I use this in my bolt action rifle and it’s fine. In my CZ Kadet - no way. I’m sitting at the range now and trying to figure what will make my auto cycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shoots Expert at Appleseed I have a basic-model 10/22, with the original factory barrel, well over 30 years old. Federal #510 shoots Expert at Project Appleseed in that barrel, and is reliable as well. I'm hoarding some when I find it in the stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make it Match Grade I buy this ammo because I never have a lot of money but I shoot 50yd bench rest out of my single shot match grade Kimber. If you shoot it straight out of the box it is just ok and you will never win anything, but if you weigh each round and separate them by weight, through out the really light and heavy ones and shoot the ones that are the same weight (I measure to 1/10th of a grain) I out shoot the guy next to me with **** Club Match costing 2x per 50. It takes a little more time but it works out great for me. My 10 rd groups end up as 1 raged hole just a little smaller than the width of 2 22's ( at 50yds) and I get about 10% in the plinking box for my other 22's. You can only do this with the same powder lot #s, so you need to buy at least a case to get lots of about 300-400 to shoot of the same weight.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Same experience as the other two… US Army veteran here, and like the other two posters I too had trouble with this ammunition. Bought a box in 2012 I believe and loaded it in my 1022's and SR-22. Almost every other round failed to cycle. It was just too weak. I don't recall if I hadn't any stovepipes but I do recall being so annoyed at the ammunition that I put it back with my stash and I still have it to this day. It works phenomenally well in my friends bolt action Marlin, but loading the stuff in a semi automatic is just going to give you a headache. This is assuming of course that it's still the same load and they haven't changed anything. Possible I got a bad batch, but the other two posters were from 2013 and 2014, so unless they've been making the same bad batch for 2+ years…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would Highly Recommend I use the Champion 510 in my M&P AR 15-22 rifle and M&P 22 handgun without any issues. I have gone through several thousands of rounds without a single failure and that says a lot. Even CCI has an occasional failure and is more than twice the price. CCI has been running $10 to $13 per 100 rounds.I have been picking up 500 rounds of Champion 510 for $28. The groupings at 50 yards are very tight and consistent. I honestly can't say enough good things about the Federal Champion 510 .22 LR. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for accuracy at a great price. I would like to thank all the employees at Federal for making such a high-quality product at a great price!
