This is the round for the 308
Have used this on Elk, Whitetail, hogs, and paper. Great knockdown, superb accuracy. I don’t handload but this round shoots like I do.

EXCELLENT
Bought this round for my Africa plains game trip. Round did very well on game from Impala to Blue Wilderbeest and large size Kudu. Skinners retrieved 3 rounds from 3 animals and very nice mushroom shape. Kudu pictures was a 200 yard heart shot, did nor pass thru, but dropped him.

The best of the best
Been using these the last 5 or 6 years. On paper will shoot cloverleafs all day long out of my Weatherby Vanguard. Have shot a whitetail every year and it drops them in their tracks. Has never let me down.

Elk hunt
Savage pc10,3/4" 3 shot groupings,1 round@80yd broadside shot =6x5 elk DRT! Elk didn't take a step. Complete pass through. Awesome performance

Fantastic Ammo - Wish I Could Find Some
The 308 Win in 180 grain Nosler Partition has been the best ammo for the combined deer and black bear hunting I do. Always holds together with a good mushroom to pass through. The only downside is that I can't find a dealer who can get any of it.

Mule deer at 352 yds
Used this ammo in my Steyr Scout this season and dropped a 4x4 mule deer like a sack a potatoes at 352 yds. Very impressed with the round.

Great hunting cartridge
I hunt with a 30-06 and have used this cartridge hunting large antelope in South Africa. I successfully bagged a few Eland weight around 250 - 300 Kgs (550+ pounds). Most shots were taken around 150 - 200 meters (160-220 yds.) Good penetration and mushrooming with great weight retention. This is a great combination for the non-self loading hunter. Would recommend for all medium and large antelope.
