Rated 1 out of 5 by from SLOW I loved the idea of this round when I saw it released and thought there was finally a decent competitor to the Barnes tax-x. Federal really needs to go back to the drawing board on all their .300blk rounds. This thing was clocking right about an average of 1979 FPS from my 12.5” barrel.. that is absolutely terrible seeing as most factory 125 get a little over 2100 and hand loads can push 2200 all from the same barrel. Federal needs to add more juice to this load and then drop all of their 150 gr offerings and bring those loads into more common grain sizes for .300blk which would be 110-125. Try again federal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic performer Shot a mule deer at 200 yards using a 6.5" barrel chambered in .300 blackout. This bullet expanded very well, leaving a large hole through the heart, lungs and out the leeward side. Groups well in all my uppers.
