American Eagle Handgun Suppressor

American Eagle Handgun Suppressor

Part #: AE9SUP1

Turn down the volume. Crank up performance. American Eagle® Suppressor rounds perform to their ballistic peak in suppressed firearms, thanks to carefully selected propellants, bullet weights and primers. Their sub-sonic loading eliminates the super-sonic “crack” suppressors can’t silence. In addition, special clean-burning powders minimize fouling while reliably functioning in semi-automatic firearms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Fluff I don't own a suppressor, so I'm approaching this ammo from a different perspective than most people reading this page. I was looking for a "soft" shooting ammo that (a) my wife could handle with a bad back and (b) that I could use to transition new shooters from .22LR to a defensive pistol without having them be intimidated on their first shot. I haven't had a chance to test out 'a' yet, but for 'b' this ammo is stellar! 292 ft-lbs of ME is akin to a .45LC cowboy load (250gr @ 725fps). It's like lobbing marshmallows downrange! Between that and the significantly lower rapport, it's perfect for first-time centerfire pistol shooters. I dare you to try shooting this stuff after a box of +P defensive ammo and tell me differently. :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT Subsonic Firing out of a 4.5" barrel with a Griffin Rev45 can - supersonic cracks every time. Wasted a ton of money on a case of this junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great. Ran 200 rounds through a Brethren Armament BAP9K MP5K clone with a Silencerco Octane 45HD suppressor. Super quiet, accurate, cycled gun every time. Actually pretty clean in the can and rifle. Was surprised! I will be buying more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not subsonic. Fired this ammo out of two different 9mm rifles with two different suppressors. Maybe two of the 20 rounds we fired didn't have a crack. I will try in my M&P 9 with suppressor and see how that goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Soft Low Recoil !!! I tried this Ammo because I heard it is Very Low Recoil and Very Consistently Accurate. Well that's for sure, It gave me 3" Groups @ 25 Yards out of my Glock 34. I quit using the 124 Gr. American Eagle (Red Box) and have switched to this mostly because it Shoots Soft and I can get back on Target quicker..
